The optical absolute rotary encoder delivers position values via the integrated J1939 interface, and the PGN can be customized for each customer application. It is environmentally protected to withstand harsh environments.
The main features are
- Compact and heavy duty industrial encoder
- Housing 58 mm in diameter
- Shaft: 6 mm or 10 mm in diameter
- Blind hollow (hub) shaft: 8/10/12/15 mm diameter
- High protection degree up to IP67
- Resolution per revolution up to 16 bit (65 536 steps per turn)
- Total resolution up to 30 bit: 16 bit steps at 14 bit turns (16 384 total revolutions)
- Galvanically isolated from bus interface
- Rugged version with two M12 connectors and protection element (heavy duty version)
